H1-receptor are present in the respiratory tract, blood vessels, and gastrointestinal tract.
Triprolidine has anticholinergic and sedative effects. Triprolidine binds to the histamine H1 receptor. This blocks the action of endogenous histamine, which subsequently leads to temporary relief of the negative symptoms brought on by histamine
Pseudoephedrine is a sympathomimetic with a mixed mechanism of action, direct and indirect.
Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant used for reducing nasal congestion caused by allergies or the common cold.
Pseudoephedrine causes blood vessels in the nasal passages to shrink (vasoconstrictor).
Vasoconstriction reduces nasal congestion by preventing fluid from draining from blood vessels into nasal passages.

Shake well before uses The average doses: Children 2-12 years: 2.5 ml – 5 ml up to 4 times per day or as directed by the physician Adults and children aged 12 years and over: 10ml up to 4 times per day or as directed by the physician Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose. |
