FEVADOL 500MG 20 TAB
Acts on the hypothalamus to produce an antipyretic effect, as fever develops when the hypothalamus is set to a higher-than-normal temperature.
May work peripherally to block pain impulse generation; may also inhibit prostaglandin synthesis in CNS
| instructions | Adults, elderly and children aged 16 years and over: Take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain or fever (depending on your case). Make sure not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. Children aged 10-15 years: Take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain or fever (depending on your case). Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Children under 10 years: Do not give Paracetamol tablets to children below 10 years of age. Do not give this medication to children for more than 3 days without talking to the doctor first. Take a tablet with or without food. Take a tablet with a full glass of water. Do not take a higher than the recommended dose and do not take the medication more frequently than every 4 hours. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose. |
